The balance of combat and exploration are the main aspects of the gameplay. The combat system in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is still built on acrobatic maneuvers and web shooting for non-lethal stunning of opponents during fights, but it has been expanded and improved. Both heroes received four active combat skills that can be chosen from a larger number of options, and the skills from previous games have been retained by the heroes and do not need to be unlocked again.
On the map screen, look for the El Train tracks cut through the middle of the district from North to South. On the Eastern side of it is a (relatively) small building that’s on an angle compared to the buildings around it. Near where the train tracks stop (on the map screen, at least), look for a building under construction with a yellow crane over it.
The only villains we get are Kraven, Venom, Sandman, The Lizard, and Mysterio (kind of). They set up The Chameleon and Carnage but they don’t actually do anything. And that’s not even mentioning side characters like Silver Sable who easily could’ve returned in some capacity. Spider-Man 2 doesn’t repeat a single villain from the first game. With the small exception of a Mister Negative boss fight, but he doesn’t do anything until that point. PlayStation detailed the game’s system requirements on PC in a trailer and accompanying blog post. In addition to features like ray tracing and ultrawide monitor support, the PC version will also allow integrated use of the PS5’s DualSense controllers.
